Running

Human.

COACHING HUMAN.

I run a lot.

Then why not a runner?

Being “not a runner” is a mindset that reminds us:
– to have gratitude for the run (it’s not always a given)
– to stay humble in our pursuits (hubris leads to stumbles)
– to have fun (life is too short)
– to love those around us (sometimes our running comes second)

Whether it is supporting you with your health journey, guiding you to your first 5K, or running hundreds of miles, I take my job as a coach seriously.

I also provide services to early stage startups looking for GTM and marketing support, something I take equally as seriously.

FAQs

Why not a runner again??

Running is a tool for us to have fun and express ourselves. I have been and have met many people who will call themselves runners and find themselves lost when running isn’t an option.

Not a Runner is about staying humble and having a balance in life that also allows you to be human.

What do you do?

As a certified Road Runners Club of America and USATF coach, I offer run coaching services for folks out there looking do their first 5K or run a 100mile endurance race. I support you in setting up realistic training goals and positive self talk. Together we will tackle your goals while making sure you live a fulfilling life.

If you’re a startup looking to get your sales engine moving, I also provide playbooks, sales support, and advising services.

Tell me more about run-coaching

First and foremost, I believe we should come to the sport of running with a gratitude mindset, thankful for the opportunity to run and move.

After suffering injuries and setbacks in my own training previously, calling myself a runner meant that when I wasn’t running, I was lost. I am human first.

This means that you can accomplish anything. But also, perfection isn’t going to help you (save that for robots). I help you put together plans that complement your daily life as human.

Who can benefit from your services?

Anyone seeking growth as a runner would benefit from guidance on planning for their first Ultra or making the jump from the chair to the 5K.

How much does the coaching cost?

I offer 3 tiers that you can find here. IF none of these make sense for you, let’s chat.
Fees vary based on the amount of engagement required to accomplish your goals. Let’s talk it out. ryan@not-a-runner.com

How do I know if the coaching is working?

You’ll recognize the effectiveness of coaching over the period of 1-3 months. We will work together to identify where you need support, how to get that support, and build programs that meet your needs as a busy human.

What else do you do besides run?

I also offer professional services for startups in the warehouse automation space. Yes, that’s specific. But it’s a space I had the honor of occupying for a long time and I want to continue to be a part of it. Besides, my running gear makes a logistically insane journey around the globe before it gets to me and I want to be a part of it. 😉
